The Astro-internet library is the basis of long term research, observational and popularization projects for the associates and members of the Public Observatory. For that purpose, the classroom of the Public Observatory was adapted at the beginning of 2005.

The library is to offer a variety of activities and resources such as:

• a wide range of popular astronomy literature including world magazines and magazines from our country
• free use of the internet for the purpose of education and astronomy popularization,
• cultural manifestations such as popular lectures, film projections and other activities,
• a chance to participate in the processing of astronomical observation results.

The basic goal of the library is the communication with people of similar interests in the region and further.
