Comet Macholz (C/2004 Q2)

Shot of comet Macholz (C/2004 Q2) was made on 11/02/2005 from Lipovica forest near Barajevo, with exposure time of 240 seconds. Digital photographic camera Canon EOS 300D was used along with camera objective Jupiter 200/4, which were mount on telescope TAL 200K in order to track the celestial sphere. Shot was split in two for synoptic reasons: one with wider and one with narrower view angle.

Milky Way

Click here for bigger picture...Setting Milky Way. Distinctive orange color around the constellation Sagittarius and center of the galaxy is notable mainly because of red giant concetration. Looking in the oposite direction of spiral arm young stars make blue color dominate. Shot was made at the Astronomy Summer Camp "Predov krst 2005" using digital photographic camera Canon EOS 20D along with camera objective of 15 mm focal length, which were mounted on equatorial mount EQ6 in order to track the celestial sphere.

Nebula on the left has distinctive purple color, while the brightest star in the shot is Vega in constellation Lyra. Shot was made at the Astronomy Summer Camp "Predov krst 2005" using digital photographic camera Canon EOS 20D along with camera objective of 15 mm focal length, which were mounted on equatorial mount EQ6 in order to track the celestial sphere.

Exposure time, on film speed ISO 800, was 415 seconds. Digital photographic camera Canon EOS 300D was used along with camera objective Canon 18-55mm with focal length of 18 mm and focal ratio F/D=8, which were mounted on telescope TAL 200K in order to track the celestial sphere.

Meteors

This Perseid image was made at the Astronomy Summer Camp "Predov krst 2005" using the long exposure method. Meteor trail intersects with star trails in the proximity of constellation Cygnus.
